Welcome to Miami

Miami is my city, New York is my town. A little expression I altered slightly to fit me. I love Miami, always have, always will, but the fact is that before, when I was a normal kid living with Maria West, I had been sheltered, and restricted from doing as I pleased. I couldn't go out at any hour, get in a car and stay out partying until 3 in the bloody morning, if anything I would get a ride to and from the mall or a friends house, and have to be home before 11:30, but now, I had liberty. And Miami is often underrated, in more ways than one. Here's been my day so far.

Last night I flew into Miami. Yes I flew, but not with the power of flight, no. I came in an airplane, like a normal human being. We dropped into MIA (Miami International Airport) at about 11:45 AM on a flight from JFK Airport in New York. The first thing I did when I got back was enjoy some traditional, cuban food. I went to the La Carreta restaurant in the airport and had a huge steak, along with some rice and black beans, then some rice pudding. Yum!
I took a taxi to a spot on South Beach, and paid the man with money I made via Thought-Form Projection (What, I didn't say I'd NEVER use my abilities here). As I stepped out of the cab, the sweltering heat of Miami seemed a bit alien, after having spent time all over the world for about a month. All day I went to the beach, talked to attractive, fit girls and attempted to skim board. Surprisingly, if you use telekinesis, its very easy.
All in all, it was a normal day, and at night, I teleported into a club. I'd never been in a true club before, and it was simply amazing. Dancing, strobe lights, sweat and heat. Its insane how much my powers started working, seeing every detail of the party, understanding, at one point I began to be able to smell phermones, my understanding grew so much. I was lving it up, and decided to have a few drinks. BIG mistake.
As soon as I had my second shot, I felt my grip on the world slip slowly away. I began to act without thought, and ended up bumping into the wrong guy. I wasn't even thinking at the time, but the blurs I remember were him pounding on me, and myself foolishly moving my hands around, hoping to telekinetically throw him. Needless to say, I had no control over my abilities. Next thing I remember was hitting the pavement face first after being thrown out by a bouncer. I slept until I was picked up by the cops.
I woke up the next morning in a Miami police station, in a holding cell. My head was throbbing madly, but I had regained control over my abilities. I made a mirror appear and looked at myself to see a few cuts and bruises on my face. I quickly healed them, and looked to the situation at hand. I could understand what had happened the night before quickly, and simply phased out of my cell, looked around until I found the report they had written on me, burned it to ashes, and then emitted a huge magnetic wave, formatting all the memory from their computers and security cameras.
I teleported to the beach again, thinking nothing could go wrong. I was right for the most part, until I saw something odd. A drug deal.
I paid little attention at first, but then saw something interesting. The dealer, after the client had walked away, snapped his fingers, and a small ziploc bag appeared in his hand. He had an ability. I decided to check this out further.
"Yo," I walked up, adopting an ebonix overtone. "You straight, cuh?"
"Yeah kid, wutchu need?" He asked, all buisness. I could see the conivingness and the readyness to decieve in his eyes.
"Whatchu got?" I asked, not really caring. He ran me through a short list of odd names of products, and I picked one at random. He produced a small bag from his pocket, or so it seemed. I had been fast enough to catch that he had made it appear in his hand. Object displacement?
At that, I took the pouch, and without thinking, ran away. Instantly he gave chase, or so I thought. I looked behind myself and saw that he wasn't there. I looked forward, and crashed right into him! Space-Time Manipulation!
The dealer punched me, but I let his fist phase through my head. He pulled back, shocked, and looked at his fist, and then my face with amazement.
"That's right" I said, re-adopting my proper voice "I'm special, like you. But you use your power for bad, whereas I use mine for good. You don't deserve your ability. I can fix that." The hunger overpowered me, but I thought it was alright, seeing as how he was a drug dealer, and a conartist, not to mention a thief! He deserved pain!
I grabbed him and teleported to an old warehouse in Idaho, where they used to have potatoes stored. I saw that he was about to stop time, but I was faster. I cut his skull open in a second, and he dropped down the next. I looked at his brain, and enjoyed it, getting the blood of the evil of the world on my hands. It felt right to kill those who are wrong. I examined, and finally I understood the ability. It wasn't space-time manipulation, but simply Time Stopping. Still a very useful ability, which I began practicing with immediately, after burning the drug dealer's body ofcourse.
Afterwards, I teleported back to Miami, and decided to go home. I teleported to the VHS store, and although it was early there, my biological clock said it was later than it was. I began to work, and wrote this blog. I haven't shown anyone my new ability, but I like my new idea: Only killing bad people, and those who truly don't deserve their abilities.
Its a good plan right? Well no time to worry now, first day at a new school tomorrow! Finally a chance to be normal again...well, not really.

As always, stay safe

  2. I think, hold off on the killing until we get pete back, and we can get him to take powers from people that don't deserve it. To help you slowly get off killing people, you could punish, but not kill the person in question.
